Armani Code Perfume by Giorgio Armani, Introduced in 2006, Armani Code is a women’s floral fragrance with citrus and white floral main accords. It has moderate to long lasting longevity and moderate sillage. This is an evening scent that works best in the fall and winter months. The top notes are Italian orange, jasmine, and bitter orange, followed by orange blossom and ginger middle notes. A strong honey base note is accompanied by vanilla and sandalwood. This perfume is a collaboration between perfumers Carlos Benaim, Olivier Polge, and Dominique Ropion of International Flavors and Fragrances (Iff).
Giorgio Armani is celebrated for his style and success, which encompasses the luxury high end to more accessible and youthful fashions. Before he began his first design position at Nino Cerruti in the 1960s, Armani worked at La Rinascente department store in Milan, Italy. In the early 1970s, Armani collaborated with numerous fashion houses as a freelance designer and gained confidence in creating his own style. He launched his collections in 1975 and expanded his brand, which entered an agreement with L’Oreal to create perfumes, with the first signature fragrance launched in 1982.
